For playing around in the garden, making jams and eating fresh blueberries!
I have some plans for this summer concerning food.
Because this is Vermont, my garden is just now getting going: several varieties of tomatoes, peas, basil, carrots, scallions. More to come, for sure! Thinking about red peppers-have you ever tried roasted red peppers with cream cheese filling and perhaps a little bit of chives mixed in?? Delicious!
As for canning....I love canning. Pennsylvania peach jam?? Oh, the best! Strawberry-Rubarb jam? One of the best I made was Blueberry-Lemon jam. That didn't last very long in the house!
What are your plans for summer gardening? Or, if you already started, what have you got going?

I don't know about strawberry rhubarb jam, but strawberry rhubarb pie is my FAVORITE summer treat. I'd give the jam a whirl.
