You Know You Are A True Mom When...

Have you ever had one of those days?  No, no, not one of those days.  How about one of those weeks?  You know, where everything seems to go wrong no matter what you do or say?

I have learned this past week to take A LOT as the mother of five - not only have I dealt with standing out in the pouring rain and snow (yes, snow in October), during my son's soccer playoff game, but I also had the opportunity this week to see what it was like to have one of my sons puke violently all over the back of my head as I was driving him to the doctors for a sick visit - not a pretty picture.  Poor kid - Poor Mom!

Phew, hopefully this coming week will be a better week.  A mom can only hope...

On a brighter note...we are happy to hear from our readers and writers here at the MWLM - keep the emails and notes coming!  You are a big part of our magazine and you mean so much to us!  if you have any suggestions or comments, please send them to us.

And again, we'd love to hear what mom writers are talking about.  Please send us a Blog and tell us about your crazy mom days - or your successful mom writer days!

Cheers!

Winter's Just Around the Corner!

I don't know what the weather's like where you live, but here in Laval, Quebec it's darn cold as we enter the second month of Fall.  We woke up to 32 degrees F (0 degrees C) this morning.  Frost covered the cars and grass.  In ten days we'll be Trick-Or-Treating with winter coats under the Halloween costumes.  The calendar might say Fall, but Winter's just around the corner.  In no time at all we'll be wearing boots, scarves, hats, and gloves to trudge through the snow...and this will last well into April, what the calendar calls Spring.

Ah the joys of living in Canada!

Happy Friday!
